This plate was started on a 2” piece of hand made and painted pottery center, and features a rose breasted grosbeak. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. Most of the green needles have faded. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and fern and the approximate diameter is 7 ¼ x 1/2”. There is a hanger on the back.
