This trivet was started on a 2” piece of hand made and painted pottery center featuring a puppy paw. It is approximately 7 1/8” in diameter. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker brown needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral. These make excellent hot pads!
