This trivet was started on a 2 1/4” piece of hand made and painted pottery center, and features a pine bough. The diameter is approximately 6 7/8”. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral. These make excellent hot pads.
