This basket was started on a 5” hand made and painted pottery center and features weeds that were pressed into the clay. This is approximately 8 1/8 × 6 3/8 x 1 1/2” in diameter. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat and wrap. There is a hanger on the back.
