This basket was started on a 5” piece of hand made and painted pottery center, and features a pine bough. This is approximately 9 × 7 3/8 x 1 1/2. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral. There is a hanger on the back as well.
