This basket was started on a 2” round piece of hand made piece of pottery featuring the decal of a bear. The spiral stitch was used, and this basket is approximately 5 1/3” in diameter and 1 1/2” high. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with dyed dark brown needles for contrast.
