This basket was started on a 2” piece of hand made and painted pottery center, and features a ladybug. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The diameter is approximately 6 1/4 from the lip x 1 5/8”. The stitches are wheat and wrap.
