This basket was started on a 2” hand made and painted pottery center that features a pine bough. Both brown and green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The green needles have faded. This basket is approximately 6 × 2” in diameter. The stitches are wheat and wrap.
