This basket was started on a 2 1/2” oval piece of handmade and painted pottery center, and features a black bear. The diameter is approximately 8”. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and fern. There is a hanger on the back.
