This plate was started on a 4 ½ x 4” piece of hand made and painted pottery center and features a green leaf. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral. The green needles have faded a bit, but this is a unique plate, and is approximately 9 ¼ x 8 5/8 × 3/4”. This also has a hanger on the back.
