This basket is approximately 8 3/4 x 10 1/4 ” handle to handle and 2 1/2 ” tall. It was started on a handmade pottery center featuring a chickadee. Brown long leaf pine needles were used as well as some dyed raffia for contrast. The stitches are wheat and wrap. A decorative stitch was used on the handles. There is a hanger on the back.
