This basket was started on a 3” round piece of hand made and painted pottery center, and features a purple bouquet. The diameter is approximately 10 1/2” handle to handle x 9 ¼ x 2”. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral, and a decorative stitch on the handles. There is a hanger on the back.
