This basket was started on a 3” round piece of handmade pottery and features a cardinal. Both green and brown long leaf needles were used as well as dyed needles and raffia for contrast. The stitches used are wheat, spiral, and wrap. This basket is approximately 9 1/2” in diameter and 1/2” high. There is a hanger on the back.
