This basket is approximately 8 7/8 ” in diameter and 10 1/4” handle to handle, and 2 1/4” tall. It was started ion a 2 3/4” oval piece of handmade and painted pottery center, and features a buck. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed dark brown needles for contrast. The stitches used were wheat and wrap. A decorative stitch was used on the handles, and there is a hanger on the back.
