This basket is approximately 9 × 10 3/4” handle to handle in diameter and 2 1/8 ” tall. It was started on a 3 1/4” round handmade and painted pottery center featuring flowers. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are fern, wheat, and wrap, with a decorative stitch on the handles. There is a hanger on the back.
