This plate was started on a 3” piece of handmade pottery and features the decal of a blue jay. The diameter is approximately 9 1/2” x 3/4”. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and fern. There is a hanger on the back.
