This plate was started on a 3” hand made and painted pottery center, and features a black bear. The diameter is approximately 10 1/4 x 1/2”. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed raffia and darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, spiral, and wrap. There is a hanger on the back.
