This trivet was started on a 2 1/2” piece of handmade pottery, and features a chickadee decal. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, fern, and wrap, and the diameter is approximately 7”. These make excellent hot pads!
