This basket was started on a 5” hand made and painted pottery center, and features a cardinal. This is approximately 8 1/4 x 6 3/4 x 1 3/8”. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some darker dyed raffia and needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral. There is a hanger on the back.
