This trivet was started on a 2 1/2” piece of handmade pottery and features the decal of a blue jay. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The diameter is approximately 7” and the stitches are wheat, fern, and wrap. These make excellent hot pads!
