This trivet was started on a 2” piece of hand made and painted pottery center featuring a black bear. It is approximately 6 3/4 ” in diameter. Brown long leaf pine needles were used as well as some dyed darker needles for contrast. This stitches are wheat wrap and spiral. These really make nice hot pads!
